We have a place for our clients to call home
The Apartment Block
We have one apartment block which has 6 units. Here, we are able to accommodate 5 women and at least 14 children & 5 infants. There is no communal living; each family has their own apartment with security. The premises have a number of security cameras and electronic gates and you could say security is relatively high. This is generally emergency accommodation. We use one unit as an office for our staff. We also have a playroom for the kids, a cubby house and a fort which they can enjoy.
We have three houses which we call ‘exit properties’. These accommodate women who no longer need emergency accommodation, but are seeking or waiting for housing and have their affairs in order. Two houses are four bedrooms and the other house is a three bedroom. It is hard to say how many each house can accommodate because we can move beds from here to there on an as needed basis.
